In order to form a team for the specialized scientific and practical center of neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation at the university, the teaching staff of the neurosurgery department, master's students and clinical residents, as well as resident doctors of the neurosurgery department of the Multidisciplinary Clinic of Samarkand State Medical University systematically upgrade their qualifications in leading foreign clinics and introduce modern methods of diagnosis and treatment into practice.

As part of the implementation of modern requirements for the medical and organizational activities of the Center, the training of nurses in leading foreign clinics is also provided. In this regard, the senior nurse of the neurosurgery department of the Multidisciplinary Clinic of SamMU F. I. Izimchanova completed an internship in a number of leading clinics in Milan, Italy.

During the internship, the nurse visited the clinics «Fatebenefratelli», «Sacco» and «Buzzi» in the Lombardy region, where she gained new knowledge about the nursing process in leading Italian clinics, as well as about the possibilities of using modern computer technologies in organizing medical activities.
