A spiritual-educational and preventive event on the topic «Enlightenment against ignorance» was held at Samarkand State Medical University.

The event was attended by the head of the Samarkand regional territorial department of the Committee on Religious Affairs S. Boymurodov, employees of internal affairs bodies, representatives of the university administration, as well as students of the medical faculty.

During the meeting, detailed explanations were given on the formation of a healthy worldview among youth, protection from alien ideas, ensuring the priority of human dignity and human rights. Special attention was paid to the role of the human factor and values in the development of society, as well as issues of protecting youth from various destructive ideas, harmful information flows and spiritual threats.

In addition, as part of the event, explanatory work was carried out aimed at preventing crime and offenses among student youth.
